Default Newbie from Alabama

G'day I'm James. I recently had a good friend (bwcritch) push me toward the purchased of a M1 CMP special and I do not regret a dollar of it! It's may 2nd favorite shooter to my M1A. I'm excited to start learning more about these iconic rifles and the history around them. He also introduced me to the M1905 and E1 variants that I apparently have fallen in love with....although my bank account has yet to get on board. I'm happy to be a part of this community and will strive to be a beneficial part of it. Thanks for having me.

Welcome James...funny as I just pm'd you to let you know it appeared your account was activated.

Look forward to more info/pics of your Special, and as you've seen, great place here to learn.
Not just Garands, but any (all??) number of mil-surp variants can be addicting. Unfortunately, the wallet is always a lagging indicator!

Again, welcome.
Rob

Welcome James, finally! It brings a tear to my eye to think that in the last year and a half I have created a collecting monster like you. Cannot wait to see what you start going after next.

Wink You got to be careful who you pick for friends

Brandon is a bad influence. You might want to select your friends with more care

Welcome to the forum. You will find that Brandon is not the only sick individual in this group
