Default FFL Won't Give Number

My FFL emailed his license into the CMP with my name, address and even CMP customer number. He received confirmation of receipt. But he will not give me his FFL number to place on the order form. I obviously have his name and address.

Any thoughts on how I should note this on the order form so it doesn't end in the circular file?

Hope that helps.

Also,

You can go here

https://www.atf.gov/firearms/updated...-listings-page

and look up his FFL#.

Hope that helps too.

Default Ffl

So long as your FFL has sent one in for you just put the name of the FFL holder where it asks for the FFL#

Go here to find his license number. Select 2018 then August then your state. If no result try July then June, etc. until you find the most updated list. This is important because the date their license expires is part of their #. The list is sorted by zip code, so scroll down to your FFLs zip and the first 6 columns are his number for example 1-63-115-01-8G-xxxxx. 8G would be 2018 and G is the 7th month or July, so this guy's license expired over a month ago, not good.
