Default HRA Trigger Housing

I recently received my Service Grade M1 Garand from the CMP and have been using USRIFLECAL30M1.COM to try and see how original it is, but ran into a snag. I've already found that I have a newer than issued bolt for my Ser.# 2479XXX rifle, and I have a 6528299-HRA-N trigger housing. I'm not able to find any info on this as their records only go to 6528290-HRA-N which went through December 1956. Also I am wondering that if it is a HRA housing, can I assume that the rest of the trigger unit is HRA, and of the same date range?

Any wisdom that you can share on this would be appreciated. I would also appreciate it if you know of any other (and possibly better) sites to perform this type of research?

6528299 housing? Probably 6528290. HRA production ended late 1956. Even though the housing is HRA, there are no guarantees the internals are. The hammer would be marked 5546008 HRA, or HRA N, along with the safety marked with HRA. I see you’re local to my area as well.

Default You are correct

After a closer inspection of the actual assembly rather than my photos it is a
zero on the end and not a nine. Also it is an HRA hammer & safety. Where
about are you located? Maybe we could meet up and discuss the M1.
