That's a nice looking pistol. I'll be happy with whatever I get.

Has any mention been made of rack grades being received? Do they exist?

Thanks for posting pics. Helps give an idea of what a Field Grade MAY look like. I'd prefer it to some of the Service Grades with bead blasted markings I've seen.

Not bad for a FG. I'd take it in a heartbeat.

I wish there was a "like" button for posts, because I "like" this:

Took it apart tonight. Barrel is HS marked and appears NOS. Light grey finish on barrel but almost zero wear. No rust, no pitting anywhere. Slide and frame are slightly different colors with upper being more of once a time grey park and lower being more bluish. I am certainly not a 45 library so if anyone needs a better description of another part please let me know and I’ll do my best.

^ Seems like the only reason why they downgraded it to fieldgrade is because the slide isnt matching the frame in color, and is much newer than the frame, as is probably the barrel.

Still, a really good value as a shooter, probably no real difference in quality than the service grades we've seen other than not being freshly rebuilt/reparked
