Default North Store Ammo

I've heard that the NS is out of 192 spam cans. Is this true and if so will the NS be getting a resupply of ammo in this config!?!?

All in nice shape. Mostly 70's headstamps. Ammo box is in decent shape too.Picked up a couple duff books as well.

Just left the N store, 1200 hrs on 18 May, bought two cans of 200 loose Greek for $98 per can. Helped a guy pick out his first rifle, that felt good. He nailed an HRA field grade, ME-2, TE-3. It also had the original HRA barrel and had USGI wood. Nice rifle for the money.

Do the 192 rounds in en block clips come in .30 cal cans (like the loose) or spam cans? By that I mean if I order online.

By the way they were out when I went there on the 7th.

That's what I thought, but I was unsure. I know there are spam cans out there, and the CMP is currently selling .30 cal can's.

I like the .30 cal can more. Its reusable.

Agreed.

I ordered two 192rd .30 cal cans and they came in bandoliers in clips. One can is labeled HXP 63 (old WWII can, with the clip to attach to a submachine gun, dirty) and the other HXP 80 (much newer manufacture can).

When one can is empty I'm going to use it for storing reloading stuff.
