A stock A2 is pretty accurate esp shooting good ammo, M193 and especially 855 can be really hit or miss Lot to Lot for accuracy as in just barely meets accuracy spec or having a Lot that shoots reallllly good.

From my experience shooting stock A2's XTC with issue ammo is you can clean 200-300yd just don't expect a high X count. The last 80 shot match I shot a few yrs ago ( expert class ) I shot in the mid 740's dropping most points at 600 as the M855 was a little wild and off call dropping quite a few 7's and 8's. I have also seen some people shoot some really good master level scores with stock or minimal upgraded A2/Colt Hbars.
