I do, however, have over 100 mixed units on order as I enter this posting, so I imagine everything will be fine within a few weeks. It has been a long time since I saw a CS 1917 or an RIA with black hooks. I do have ONE RIA 1941 with brass hooks and perpendicular script. One ONLY.
Jim,

I will take one of the anonymous slings with black hooks. Check will be going out in the mail tomorrow.

.. Will take the One RIA 1941, if available. Need payment info, though. Also, what do you mean by "mixed units"? There are brass and black hooks?

The orders that Jim receives are mixed units of anonymous, Milsco, RIA, etc. marked slings. There will be some with black hooks and others with brass. They do not have "mixed" hardware if that is what you are worried about.

Thanks. Was not worried about hardware as much as all my milsurp stuff is mix-master heaven. I would like the hooks to look more or less uniform in color, however. Thanks.

Gotcha...the metal hardware (hooks) will match. The dyes vary from sling to sling but seem to be uniform in color based on the photos posted by Jim. From the feedback that I have read from other buyers, you won't be disappointed.

Jim...I am heading to the post office as we speak to mail payment to you for one unmarked / anonymous sling with black hooks.

See what happens when you think about a purchase.

I will yield to anyone that ordered before me.

But, I'm in line for two more RIA, 1941, Black.

These really look nice on my M1s and 03's.

Thanks Jim.

So confused is the only difference the color of the hardware? Looking for something to go on 2 1955 Garands I like the tan with black but would prefer something that was period correct if I am incorrect.

Does anyone have pics of these on a rifle so that I can see an example?
