Since you are the recipient, not the shipper the shipping company cannot work or do anything with you. It is the shippers responsibility to file a claim if their co tract allows for such a thing. As the recipient you need to follow up with the shipper to have them do so.

This thread can be closed. Big Red was right, I put this in the wrong place. I was never looking to place blame or hold anyone responsible or get anything. I simply wanted advice how to make sure the ammo was still safe to shoot. I have decided it is so the issue is closed. Thanks all.
