A most interesting customization. I am sure one can have fun with it. Is it a range gun or for varmints?

Varmints, I bought it this way. Weaver side mount is the way to go.

I remember seeing one like this in a gunshop in the early '90s... in brown. It looks better in black though!

With soft points and good bullet placement, a White Tail will fall up to 120 yards.

I watched my buddy shoot a rather large buck with a carbine...he ran about a hundred yards, but was just as dead if it had been a 300 magnum!! Probably not the best choice, but he had it for his young son who was small in stature. The boy got buck fever, so dad took the shot...it worked just fine!!
