But other than the M'03-A3 rifles I inspect and repair, none are being processed for sale at this time and none are likely to be processed in the near future.

Your rifle, Remington M'03-A3, S/N 3511272, with original 4-groove, R.A./3-43 barrel, was one of nineteen rifles I inspected on 2 Nov 2018. According to my notes, your rifle was fitted with a Remington bolt from a later rifle, but was otherwise original. I did not replace the bolt.

I encountered several rifles that appeared to have a hard residue in the bore which wouldn't clean out with a few passes from a bore brush. The rifles, therefore, graded out as having a dark bore. I surmised that a good scrubbing with a stiff brush and suitable solvent would improve the bore condition. You apparently obtained one of those rifles and I am happy that you are pleased with it.

Thanks for your patronage!

Hello John,

Would you mind telling me about 03a3 Remington 3493580? I got it a year or two at the north store. The bore was labeled dark, but cleaned up very nicely as you stated some would. Thank very much for your time.

Tom

Good day John,

If you are so inclined, I would be very interested to read what notes you may have on a 03a3 Remington s/n 3840132 that you had processed on 2 Nov 18 (which I purchased today 2/28/19 at the South store).

The hang tag otherwise has:
Muzzle: 0.5
Throat: 1.5
Grade: Good Bore

Your rifle, Remington M'03-A3, S/N 3840132, with original 4-groove, R.A./7-43 barrel, was one of nineteen rifles I inspected on 2 November 2018. According to my notes, your rifle was assembled from mixed parts and had to be re-stocked. If my memory serves me correctly, your rifle was originally fitted with a Type C pistol-grip stock which had to be replaced with an M'03-A3 style straight-grip stock.

Thanks for your interest and inquiry! And thanks for your patronage!

Please pardon my tardy response. I inadvertently overlooked your posting.

Your rifle, Remington M'03-A3, S/N 3493580, with original 4-groove, R.A./3-43 barrel, was one of ten rifles I inspected on 20 Nov 2015. I noted that your rifle was in original condition, but had a mismatched bolt. So I replaced the bolt.

Thanks for your patronage!

Your rifle, Remington M'03-A3, S/N 3459478, with original 4-groove, R.A./2-43 barrel, was one of thirty-three rifles I inspected on 5 Oct 2018. I noted that your rifle was in original condition and required no repairs or replacements.

Thanks for your interest and inquiry! And thanks for your patronage!
