I have a couple I plan on selling this next 6 month. Will see what they bring. Going to pare them down to a keeper or two.

That's about what I've seen them going for at gunshows.
I bought mine (Sporter stock, but nothing else was messed with) for $430 at a local gun and pawn though. It's a 1917 Eddystone with a Remington bolt and spotless bore, so maybe they didn't know what they had.

Gunshops or pawnshops don't alwyas know and moving them can be the goal not at maximum price.

Lower value to them vs the right customer unlike GB and the other auction sites that automatically get the interested/collectors.

I paid around $900 for my Remington last week. Came with a nice bayonet and scabbard too.

I bought that one . Thanks all . It's all E marked and bore cleaned up shiny. No rebuild marks on stock, but it appears it's been reparkerized. I have read that after WW-1 a lot were refinished and moth balled.

I don't remember any 17s selling at real auctions for those prices--until recently. It seems that prices on the mil surp rifles have bumped up considerably over the last 2-3 years.... Good Shooting. ...
