I picked out a nice Winchester field grade. Really wanted a Springfield Armory field grade rifle. But this was a very nice rifle, so nice I could not let it go.

The 1903’s, any 03A3’s in the mix? Plan on stopping by mid day tomorrow and seeing what’s there.

I was there on Friday morning around 10am, and there were some 03a3 there. In the parade/drill rifles. The parkerized ones have very heavy welding on the cutoffs and some welds on the barrels at the receiver. There were 2 chrome ones that did not have the cutoff welded. I took the barreled receiver that did not have the barrel welded to the receiver but had a broken bolt at the front trigger guard screw. The other chrome one(Remington) had wood on it and I didn’t ask to see if the barrel was welded to the receiver.

I hope this helps.

Petro
