Default South Store Report 07/25/2019

There were 18 customers at opening and the racks were full. 16 rifles were sold by 0830, so numbers may be off a little... there were a few faint SA cartouches.

PERSONAL NOTE: I am having a surgical procedure tomorrow morning, so I don’t think there will be a opening or maybe a closing report tomorrow.

CMP SA Field Specials, 3.

IHC SG/FG 16

WRA SG/FG, 20. There was a 2535649 A, which means it has a sister SA somewhere with the same serial number... no WRA barrels.

SA SG, 1.

1903, 20.

1903 Drill, 5, rough or parts rifles.

M1C a SG & FG.

M1D, WRA, RG 2

SA 6 million, 1.

FM 23-25 manuals, Pistols, 1960 dated, 5.00.

Good luck on your searches.

Thanks for this report. I'm headed down right now. I'm not sure if I'll make it today but I will be there by Friday.

Default Holding rifles?

Is there any chance the CMP will “hold” any rifles for people? I live half a day’s drive away, and I was wondering if I called the CMP and told them I was coming down that maybe they’d hold a rifle for me. For instance, my goal is to get a 1903 between the serials of 800,000 and 1,000,000. If there were one on the racks, would they hold it for me a day so that I could make the drive and buy it? Wishful thinking, I’m sure, but that’s probably the only way I’d come down.

PH68, I realized, after the fact that I spoke to you the last time that I visited the South Store. Thanks for that help and good luck with the surgery tomorrow.

The best way to find out that would be to call them yourself. Nobody here can speak for them. When you call, you might want to add that you're willing to prepay and give them your credit card info. Otherwise, I see no reason for them to remove from sale a rifle for someone who may not show up.

Default NEW STOCK, midday restock

There are 5 1903a3s in the A4 configurations, 1350.00 plus 10%tax. These rifles were serviced 2013-2016. Rifles are drilled for scope mount, no front sight and off set serial numbers. Condition is good to very good...

Well that's a steal - bought my 1903 limit too soon I'd say.

Hope everything goes smoothly tomorrow Tom!

We were driving down from Pigeon Forge, where we spent the night. I read this and drove a little faster, Ricky Bobby faster, to get to the south store before it closed
We may have raced through three states to get to the south store but I am very thankful for this tip as I picked up one of these rifles. Much thanks for the report.
