What is the difference in a Rack Grade Special? More pitting on the reciever?

Assuming that's the case, but it is still structurally sound, I would see no reason to get a FG Special.

This is good news I sent a mail order in for an IHC service grade after speaking to the lady on the phone at Anniston who said it would be ok.

Overall appearance isnít as good as top grade but they have been reparked and yes there is more pitting... There are three grades of Specials, in order of grade best to lowest... I may not have the exact wording but Iím sure you get the drift of grades.

CMP Special

CMP Field

CMP Rack

The CMP RG sells for the same price as SA FG, but in fairness the CMP RG look dang good with new barrel and wood..

Default Thursday closing report

There was a restock during the day of 13 rifles. Racks are full.

There is an SA FG with the original NAVMC (Navy/USMC) repair yellow tag attached with matching serial number, if someone is interested. Unit is USMC 1st ITR (Infantry Training Regiment)

Added to morning report numbers were:

1903, 4

SA FG, 6

Field Specials, 2, SA and HRA

CMP Specials, WRA, 1.

Other rifles remain about the same.

Good luck on your searches..
