Tom, glad you're back, hope all had good times on vacation.

What is the cost of an SA rack grade at the store? I have a few decent barrels and FG/SG stock sets to "use up."

Default West Store 8/9

Went to the range store after a south store visit. Passed on the 308s at Anniston hoping for more at Talladega but only one SG 308 special at $1050. The FG specials at the SS were too good in comparison for the difference. Also had a couple -06 specials at the WS, also many IHC and WRA SG and FG. Four IHCs I looked at had good GI wood and IHC bolt+oprod and LMR barrels. Would have walked out with one if a WRA S.A. 64 rebuild with WRA bolt+oprod had not been there. This was a Philippine gun as indicated by the "Y" on the blue tag per the attendant, as was the IHC that was most tempting me. Several others shown as such in the racks. A few more options with GI wood at both stores hopefully a sign of more to come with the Philippine guns.

Tom, can you ask if they will restock the RG’s for tomorrow? I will try and make it out there.

I made the pilgrimage today to the South Store. Another enjoyable visit and enjoyed the chat with Tom. Thanks again for the weekly reports.
I was happy to find and bring back home with me a WRA SG serial number 122xxx. Yep manufacturered prior to the US entry to the war. Fitted with a HRA barrel and SA 3 op rod. Happy with my find ! Now its the earliest Garand I own!
