I've been running Linux Mint on a 6 year old computer for about 10 months. It runs MUCH faster than Windows and updates take a few minutes at most. So far I have never had it request a reboot to update anything. It is said that you can set up a PC as a dual boot computer, but I couldn't get mine to do it. I think it has something to do with the Linux being a Legacy boot and Windows being UEFI (or something).
And there is no need for virus scanners on Linux. https://www.howtogeek.com/135392/htg...d-when-you-do/ Last edited by Blood_of_Tyrants; 12-05-2019 at 06:46 PM. Reason: Combine consecutive posts again |
