Default Chances of 1903s on 11/7 at NS

Hey guys, I know it would be speculation but what do you think the chances of 1903s being at the North Store will be on 11/7? Also, my GCA membership is out of date. Can I renew it at the NS (I thought I heard this was a possibility)?

I guess if there are no 1903s I could always pick up another M1

My guess, there will 1-3 to choose from. Here's what I've pieced together from the recent posts...

*10-15: truck arrives with 1903s, 1903A3s, 1917s
*10-17: nice stock of 1917s, 1903s and 1903A3s.
*10-18: 26 1903s reported left
*10-19: 20 1903s left, 1917s gone
*10-31: 12 1903s left
*11-1: 5 left at the end of the day
*11-2: 4 left at 9:30 am.

So after 9 days of sales they sold at least 21 rifles. Sales were more brisk at the beginning. What was left on 11-2 when I went was left for a reason- they were not spectacular. 2 or 3 were missing the peep portion of the rear sight, and all read "dark bores". I've spent several hours cleaning mine, and I'm still not done. The rifling seems to be intact, and it's slowly cleaning up, but it's certainly the dirtiest gun I've ever had to clean. My front sight blade is a bit wobbly.

Bottom line - you will likely need to be invest a fair amount of time cleaning the gun if you buy one, and you may need to buy a small part or two. It will likely not stun you with its beauty.

The ones that are left are all $650. I hope this helps you make an informed decision. Good luck!

Ok, so if I understand correctly, they usually put all the rifles out from a shipment out at once if they have the rack space. They don't usually hold some back to re-stock?

In this case, I believe you are correct.

With as few 1903 they had, they put them all out. The North Store seldom receives enough rifles to hold any back.

Can’t speculate on your chances of finding a 03 but, you have a good chance of driving in the first significant snowfall of the season.
