The cheek pad rivets are not chromed.

I saw a full chrome registered paratrooper Winchester M2 carbine for sale at a show in Virginia one time. If I stumble across it again, I will give 6 Ring the seller's info. I don't remember if the cheek pad rivets were chromed or not.

Worst chrome job (usually actually nickel due to hydrogen embrittlement) I ever saw was a Norwegian 1911 AKA Kongsberg Colt! I believe it went for around $300 circa Y2K, I came close but just couldn't justify the expenditure at the time.

I have two chrome 1917s (one appears more modern, the other was from CMP) and a gold plated Walther PP. Collectible? Not really. Cool (to me)? Hell yeah.

I dig the carbine and would be proud of it. It's unusual for sure. Lemme know if you ever sell...I'll hang a disco ball from the muzzle when I shoot it.

I have $ 1,400 in it. If you want it for that and cover shipping send me a PM.

I sold a Chrome 1911 Colt, 1918 a few years ago. I do know where there is a nice chrome Inland M1.

I stored a nickle plated Luger for a friend years back. It always pained me to look at it.

There was a chromed transitional model Inland (with an American Swiss type 2 band) that ran the gun show circuit here not that long ago. The price wasn't that bad, but it just didn't look right for obvious reasons.

I bought a chrome plated 45 right here on the forum. I like it.
