Default M1 Saginaw

My LGS is offering a Saginaw receiver with a GM barrel. It is import marked and the barrel has no date on it. Stock is nice wood but not original GI. Is $700 over priced for this gun?

Assuming no issues, itís a very fair price

It sounds like you are saying it is $700 for just a barreled receiver with import marking. If so, it is priced too high.

OP mentions that it has a stock so I assumed a complete carbine

oh yeah, good point. The "My LGS is offering a Saginaw receiver with a GM barrel" threw me off.

Compared to what local shops are charging around here, that sounds like a pretty good deal. Assuming it retains usgi parts and isn't too rough.
