It is fast approaching one year since my FFL turned my ugly black case to me and i opened it to see my RNG #1120 Colt/Rand. I did what research I could and learned a lot. I had to get home to know I had a Colt frame made late December 1944 Third gen Rand slide. Post war Colt barrel. My 1911a1 started the research for the single A rebuild stamp. Please post when your early CMP 1911 arrived. I am still amazed people are just getting their 1911s' and I still come here almost every morning. I look forward to the first help me with my ______, and DD is right there to guide them to the answer.?
