I believe it is non corrosive but I still clean as if it were just in case. I shoot it out of my 1917 and 03 but would not shoot it out of my garand. I too have had some split cases

Thanks for the good Intel. I have a can of 250 that will probably end up looking for a new home. No sense endangering the garands.

I get not shooting Kynoch in Garands because you want to protect op rods.
However I do not understand those that experience split cases or gas leakage and continue to shoot it in 1903s. The coned breech of the Springfield is nowhere near as strong and does not do as good a job stopping gas coming back to the shooter as the 98 Mauser (or M1917 or M1 Garand). |
