Default Quality Hardware trigger housing unmarked?

Is there any identifying physical characteristics of a Quality trigger housing? I have a complete Quality group in my 1.63 mil Quality carbine and all parts Q-marked & look to have been together since day 1. The trigger housing is unmarked (where I thought it should be marked). Doesn't look sandblasted or reparked. Original faded finish. Is there a way to tell which manufacturer made the housing, without markings?

Thanks all

There were some transfered trigger housings from NPM to QHMC. N on the right, number on the left. If completely unmarked, I'd suppose things like that happened in wartime production. Pictures might help us to see manufacturing characteristics.

I have an almost 100% (has adjustable rear sight) original Quality products carbine SN 1.92 and everything is Quality marked as it should be with the exception of the front sling swivel. Finish wise it matches everything else perfectly, like the poster above said Iím sure things slipped by during wartime production. I wouldnít sweat it, more likely than not itís original.

OK, I tried to find evidence of any markings and I can't find any. No markings in mag well. The carbine is a 1.63 Quality with all metal parts correctly Q-marked (except the trigger housing) Also the rear sight is a flip, and only marked "S" on the one side. No other markings on the sight. Would this rear flip sight be period-correct?

Thanks for all input here. Never owned a Quality Hardware and am curious.

Many of the characteristics of your trigger housing are typical of Quality Hardware. I would generally rule out IP, S'G', Rock-Ola, Saginaw, NPM, Standard Products and Inland. Underwood and Winchester trigger housings are similar but I believe yours is truly QHMC. It looks identical to one that I have in a 1.56 QHMC. Also, the hammer marks suggest that it has always had a dogleg hammer. I guess they just missed stamping yours.

So, how many parts did Quality Hardware actually make?

They also ended up making a few post war replacement parts as well, but yes, during their contract they only made the receiver. Everything else was subcontracted.
