Default I ordered a case Friday

I asked about shipping to Georgia and was told it would be "around $20" if I remember correctly. It could have been $25. I have not received a confirmation of shipping costs, but will update this when I get the final shipping figure.

I got a year free of credit checking too, from the post office employee records being hacked. Happens everywhere. I'm curious about this ammo though. Probably can find it at a gunshow too.

Is there something special about the IWI ammo? SG Ammo has Aguila ammo for $338/1000 and that seems like a better deal.

Israeli-made weapons and ammo are high quality, they have to be, to live where they do! The noted carbine ammo are soft points too and usually more $$ than ball. More soft tissue damage too. Better self defense rounds.

I was finally able to put a few rounds through my new-to-me CMP carbine the other day and fired some Herter's select 110gr soft points through it. Fed perfectly, cycled perfectly, and absolutely obliterated a couple of grapefruits at 50 yds.

Cool thing was, credit whoever had it before, the sights were still lined up dead on ...I just aimed a tad lower at that short distance.

PS - I've got a friend who regularly deer hunts and scores every year with his Dad's old USGI carbine and soft point ammo.

Default Update on IMI .30 Carbine Ammo Pricing

I received my case of IMI ammo yesterday. The total was $413.00. This included $22.60 for shipping to Georgia, and also a 3% surcharge for credit card ($19.52/box for 20 boxes). I don't recall reading about the credit card upcharge, but it may have been shown "somewhere." At any rate, it appears to be a good price for IMI soft point.
