Default WRA Carbine MFG Date

Good afternoon gents,

I have a Winchester Carbine with the serial number 1207562. I'm trying to pin down a date of manufacture so I can determine how original it is. It has all WRA parts, faint WRA GHD cartouche highwood stock. It has unmarked flip sight, early type barrel band etc...

I suspect mid-late 1943, but can only fins broad date range for the serial range.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

Of your sn is lower than 5,662,825 it was April 6,1944. Above that and it was April 8,1944.

Per war baby vol 3, page 1132

Thanks for the info.

Is 5662 a typo? If not would you mind looking at 5562 for me?
