Well, we will need pics then of stock and Park!

You will certainly get em. It's been a long journey for the old gal. 90 days to get an RA from CMP that started in April of last year ,sent to CMP and got it back in Feb, turned right around and sent it to Shuffs, and hopefully have it back by mid June or before. Needless to say I'm like a kid waiting on Christmas.

The only one with a US GI contour is the DGR stock.

Pretty neat they'll clone whichever pattern is correct for a particular rifle.

Here is a Kahr Auto Ordnance stock I recently bought. I also ordered their handguard.

Wood appears to be some type of hardwood. Possibly walnut although it doesn't really have any smell. The stock came with a very dull brown stain with no sheen at all. There is some figure to the wood but it is mostly straight grained.

The handguard is 2-rivet on top but cut underneath for a 4-rivet plate. It is very plain with no grain or pattern hardly to speak of.

Interior finish is quite good. No worries about catching a splinter or anything. Included with the stock is the recoil plate assembly, butt plate and front spring.

Overall probably pretty decent for the money but the stock is sort of "off" just a little. It is fatter through the wrist than GI stocks I've messed with. It is also somewhat pot belly but is not cut for the M2 parts.

It will be fine on a Plainfield that originally had a yellow stock and perforated metal handguard. It would probably also be fine on a shooter grade gun.

I've already got two coats of boiled linseed oil rubbed into the stock. The first coat soaked in immediately with no rubbing.

I bought my first Garand last year, a CMP Special, and when I opened the case for the first time, it was simply the nicest lookin rifle I had seen in my life. I was equally impressed with my carbine after getting it back. Shuff did a perfect job on it, and he also re lubed everything when re assembling it. This whole process of getting my carbine
Like I wanted it started in April of 2019 , and after sending it to CMP getting it back, then to Shuffs and getting it back June 8, it was well worth the wait.
