Default Fathers Day gift to myself

Fed Ex showed up today (Sunday) with my RTI Ethiopian carbine. Standard Products, 12-43 Underwood barrel, MN marked mag, it will be a few days before I can break it down into its components, but for 800 and change (I got the 20% 1-day discount last week) its not so bad https://imgur.com/a/B5AuQqV

Nice looking carbine William! Give us pics after you get her cleaned up.

Not yet. The local range is still closed due to covid concerns and the next closest public range is close to an hour away. If I ever catch up on the honeydo list I'll make the trek.

Maybe itís the photo quality, but the wood on yours looks like itís in much better condition than mine. I still canít get over the lost $90 savings...I shouldíve waited another week before ordering.

Well got it cleaned up and back together. This one's probably the roughest out of the ones I've received-quite a bit of patina though the internals are nice. It took a bit of scrubbing. Coincidence it was the one I got for the 20% off 24 hour sale? I thought it fitting to add the early sling that came with the Winchester.

Standard Products receiver, 12-43 Underwood barrel, milled rear sight, R marked slide, AI bolt, SA-marked M2 stock.
