Default Vintage Sniper Commands from Center Line

Anyone recall the commands from Center Line?

  1. "Dismount" ?
  2. ?
  3. Standby ?
Then when the shooter could load, sight and fire was it "Targets" ?

Also-I think it was 25 seconds to load & fire with 15 seconds/of downtime?

Thanks.

The other word was "unload", but I don't remember if it was 1 or 2. And yup... "Targets".

See Annex D of the Games Rules, pages 81-83. Use the page numbers on the pages, not in the heading of the pdf.

Those are the standard commands... They used different commands/procedure at Talladega, GGaskill - presumably for the lack of moving targets.

Exactly correct Mike. Talladega is "different" because they don't run the targets up & down like is done at OK, Butner, Perry & Phoenix. Talladega also has the electronic scoring so the shot feedback (score) is done immediately instead of in the Pits. I believe they said the new "Talladega" rules will be published in the 2016 Rule Book.

I asked because we run no-pits VS Matches at our local club. I like the "dismount" command (which we have not done) as it forces the shooter to get off the scope. I want to use the same commands and timing that Talladega uses.
