Default 03A3 drill rifles

So has anyone been to the north store lately to be able to tell me if there are any drill rifles on the wall with usable a stock. I'm in need of a stock and a drill rifle might be the way to go. Thanks. Dan

Default drill rifles

Was there 2 weeks ago. would not reccommend buying one for wood. sad condition. well picked over. Unless received new stock. BEST THING TO DO IS CALL THEM FOR UPDATE OF DRILL RIFLES CONDITION.

Just left there... There were a dozen or two? I didn't pay too close attention, but I believe they were marked down to $150. I think I saw some decent wood.

I looked them over and saw some decent stocks. Some with cartouches, some not. Some SC's still in the mix. Most will need some steaming to get out dents, most of which are small. Some were original and some replacements ( mostly replacements now). One "C" stock. Mostly if the stocks were good some of the metal was weird. A number of them had dented up rear sights, btw. Those by the north wall are still a bunch of pretty bad ones. The better are on the east wall ( if I have my directions right) ( east wall = TV wall, ja?). I was there late this aft, so what was there will probably still be there Thursday.

As for the new stock/handguard sets, they'll give you a much tighter fit on a "shooter." I got one (installed ) last summer and it's darned good, though not an original stock set from way back when.

Having them fit a new stock wouldn't have been a bad idea 3 months ago but after the Perry match last year it got a cleaning and in the safe. I didn't see the crack until Saterday. Now I'm running out of time and still need to put some rounds down range before July.im going to make a run to the North Store and shake the trees. Hopefully a useable straight stock will fall out and some useable parts for a possible A4 build. I got an itch for the vintage sniper match and with my eyesight these days a scope would be a welcome . Dan

Was at the South Store Sat. and they had some really good looking stocks on their drill rifles, both straight and scant, did not see any c stocks. Their ext. is 338 ask for mike or leave a message and they will get back to you. Good luck
