Default wondering about m7 tanker holsters for 1911

When I get my call for my 1911(#2361), I'm going to need a holster for shooting sessions and like the look of the m7 holster. Just wondering which one is good. looking on amazon there is a bunch of repo's, some good reviews, & some very bad reviews. Figured guys on here will give me the advice i'm looking for.

Thanks in advance

This is what I used when I was in the Army in the 80s.

fyi, Anytime I see a "make an Offer" button on Ebay, I always offer 10% to 15% less.

Sorry I can’t give any advice on the repros, but I got an WWII vintage M3 holster on eBay for around $70 in pretty good shape. The M3 is very similar to the M7 except there is no strap across the chest , which I prefer. Most on eBay seem to go for over $100 but good deals do pop up if you can wait. Just another option for you.

The one you want is the one that was slightly adjusted for the M9

These are often on the surplus market for cheap, and will be period correct for your 80s rebuilt 1911.

Pop 1095-00-973-2353 into the internet auction site everyone goes to. I see one on there now.

I bought an M3 Tanker style back in the day when I bought my Springfield Armory GI 1911. Pretty sure it was a "second" or similar for less than $40 +/-.

Its good.

Eventually I switched the the current issue M13 shoulder holster, which adapts the M12 holster to a shoulder holster.

This is the current issue descendant of the shoulder holster for US armed forces
