Default Ranges in SC?

Anyone know any good ranges in SC to shoot the Garand at? I've mostly been doing the pistol thing and the 30-06 is much different in terms of range needs and I'm having trouble finding places. Just looking for ideas. Surrounding states might work as well. Might be the wrong section to ask.

Mid Carolina rifle range, we have a highpower shoot the 2nd Sunday of the month, and a lot of people shoot Garands.

There is a very good SC dept. of natural resources range in Spartanburg County - approx. 90 minutes from Columbia. There are two ranges on site, a 100 yard range with a covered firing line and a 200 yard range, also with covered firing line. Skeet and archery ranges are also on site. Hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Tuesday - Saturday. Driving directions can be found at the DNR website.

Charlotte rifle club also shoots 2 HISTORIC MILITARY RIFLE MATCHES every year. The next one will be Sunday, July 4th. PSMA has one November 6th at Ft Gordon in GA, you do not have to be a member to shoot. Mid Carolina will have a Garand/vintage rifle match the 2nd Saturday in September.

We also have a steel plate shoot with a Garand subdivision every 3 months at the Charlotte club, next match May 29th. This match is a lot of fun, and they normally have pretty nice prizes as well. The winner of the next individual match will get an FNP-9 pistol I hear.

There's an excellent, free DNR range near Pickens...it's where I do most of my shooting...

I disagree about this range.
The rifle lines must fire through concrete tubes, you must fire while seated at their benches, Finally-you are supposed to load and fire one round at a time.

It's best for sighting in scopes and not m1 match training.
