During non-match shooting, how often is there a cease-fire for brass cleanup ? At my local range it is about every 30 minutes for target changes and cleanup. At 5 minutes before the cease-fire there is a verbal warning to everyone.

When I'm over there shooting/practicing, I will do ALL of my shooting then request a brass call. The RO will call the range cold and you can retrieve your brass. It only takes 2-3 minutes and no one seems annoyed by it. If I am shooting and someone else requests a brass call I just take a 2-3 minute break while they get their brass. No big deal.
Main thing is safety and some shooter consideration thrown in and it all works out. Keith Schachle
