CMP Vintage/Modern Military Rifle Event Set for November at Camp Perry - CAMP PERRY, Ohio Those looking for a place to fire in recreational rifle competition during the fall will have a chance on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, as the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) hosts an As-Issued M1 Garand, Springfield, Vintage and Modern Military (GSMM) Match on Petrarca Range at Camp Perry. Id love to come, but with registration starting at 8am Id have to leave my house by 5 which makes for a long day. Any chance of bumping the start times back ever?

Just because the registration starts at 0800 doesn't mean you have to be there at that time.

Yeah, Im sure the firing probably starts at 0900 at the latest though. I was just curious

Six relays; but you can only fire once--no way driving three hours for that. Good Shooting. .

It only takes me about 20 hours of driving, if the traffic is OK and the creek don't rise.

E type pop-up target from 50m to 300m. They use a special course of fire developed for this event.
