Default Curious, did ANYBODY receive a Brendan M4 bayonet from Midway?

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if anybody on the CMP forum actually received a BRENDAN marked US M4 carbine bayonet from the recent Midway sales?

Over the past couple months, I have seen multiple reports of Imperial's and TMN's, even a stray Camillus. But I have seen no Brendan's posted at all, here or on other websites. I find it odd, since the Midway descriptions prominently talked about their stock being of either Conetta or Brendan manufacture.

Conetta, maybe Bren-Dan ? Found this...

"By 1971 Conetta did not have any contracts - the contract shown on the box was issued to Bren-Dan. Conetta's last contract was in 1969. For those not aware, Conetta and Bren-Dan were owned by the same people and were basically across the street from each other. Conetta shut down their government work in 1969 and all later contracts went to Bren-Dan, and were marked with the Bren-Dan name. Apparently they either had some Conetta marked guards left over that they used up, or possibly even some bayonets that had not been used in an earlier contract."

No, the M4 is a carbine bayonet. You are looking for a M1905.
