Default 10-15 Report

Got there right around 0830 and walked right in.

22's
4 or 5 Steven's 416. A few with front sights.
4 M44s. Two park'd and two blued.
3 M144s. All blued.
1 521T left. I bought the other one that was there
5 M540XR's
4 Anschutz of various models.
Ton of Kimbers with no sights.

A TON of stripped barreled actions. Which is really too bad because a lot of the Anschutz barrel actions were in great condition, but without a bolt and trigger I don't know what you'd do.

I didn't see any 1903's. There were only a few 1917's left. The one Garand that caught my eye was a Winchester Serial Number 124XXX rack grade that was sitting next to the drill rifles. I couldn't justify it though.

I wonder if those are the same 540xr's that have been there since the 5th.

Doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in them at $400, which isn't surprising considering the condition.

Also - one of them fires when the safety is released. It's a Remington, though, so it was probably just poor gun control on my part.

I left with one Rem 521T and I'm happy enough with it.

What is their condition? The ones in the SS were new in the box at $400.

Did you by any chance look at the model numbers on any of the Anschutz barreled receivers. A model 1914 would be something that I would be interested in.

There weren't any complete that I know of for sure. I didn't check through the pile of barreled receivers though.

Default Just back from the North Store too!

I believe the Remington 513T's are gone. There were only two in the rack this morning. I took one home and a 513T barreled receiver. I was there last Wednesday and there were several to choose from. I decided not to buy one then and that was a big mistake. There are a few decent Krags but I don't think as nice as the one I brought home Wednesday. I didn't look at the 1917's.
