Recently purchased.. is it legit? NO markings at all.

I don't think it is.
  1. Looks too new
  2. C-tip shape doesn't look right. Compare:





The newer reproductions are much closer to original than previous ones, I have to admit.

Default sling

Did anyone refurbish carbine slings for the reissue or to suplus? This one has parts that are not the same age, most noteably the dot fastener male (post only, back looks much older) and the female part looks newer as well, and are of painted brass.

Not that I know of. Doesn't seem cost effective to do that.

It's not just most of the metal parts on your sling looking new, the webbing looks new too.

This is a new commercial copy. It looks pretty realistic.

The tip also does match the sling that I have that is original.
I think yours is a repro. The material also appears to be much newer.

The stitch pattern doesnt look like the old ones and the snaps look too new also. That said, it looks way better than a lot of repro's do.

It may be one of "At The Front's" slings. They are very good reproductions.
