While living in Alaska in the 80s developed an interest in the dog mushing . . . the weakest those Iditarod musher had more guts and stamina than any of today's overpaid, pampered "professional athletes" could even dream of.

I was really impressed by the late Joseph Reddington Sr., the father of "The Last Great Race". In the world of sports, he was a true man's man. My internet name is a tribute to him.

Mine comes from where I live, I watch out for people with banjo's and I have made good friends with the people who do amazing things with corn and sugar!!

I retarded from the AF after 22 years as Chief Master Sergeant and I was born in 68..... hence the ultimately creative "Chief68"

Hoopty is street slang for a piece of &*$% car. When I first became a cop, I used to get the old nasty car (rookie dues). I stopped this gangster one night who laughed his butt off at my old patrol car. From that point on, that guy and his crew used to call me officer Hoopty..
