Default Hello from Texas

Hi folks, and glad to be aboard. Received this month my RM1Special from CMP, serial number 1,118,NNN, which puts the receiver's manufacture in January 1943.

After applying some Danish Oil Finish Medium Walnut and raw linseed oil to the new stock, here's what I've got:



I really, really like this rifle!

1.362" MOA at 50 yards using bench rest. Very pleased. The lower two shots were after fiddling with elevation and windage. Aim point was center of bull, while attempting to battle sight for 200 yards.



That's eight shots in between the caliper arms...
