Default Lock up too tight?

I have a SAI w/all USGI parts. When the upper is seperate from stock it cycles fine by hand. Once I assemble the rifle completely (lock up is tight) About half way back the bolt seems to catch up on something and is difficult to cycle by hand, howver I am able to complete cycle. not sure where to start. Is the problem w/the TG or my stock? Can lockup be too tight? Any help would be great. Tx Jim

May be just overreacting so just want to make sure. It seems a little rough charging the rifle. Once I charge it and cycle it by hand, it is at this time (hammer back) when I cycle it slowly that I notice this issue. Is this common?

If you take it down to try a "tilt test" and it passes, then try this and see if you can identify the problem. http://www.thecmp.org/Sales/pdfs/Tig...rticle2012.pdf

Some of my Garands do the same thing.
I wondered about that too, but function was fine.
