Default Did they have drill only stock for M14s?

I was wondering if there are regular fiberglass stocks or "drill" stocks?

They are exactly the same as all other G.I. fiberglass stocks. The rifle teams used them to practice with to keep from dinging up their presentation stocks. In truth, most of them are probably returns from combat rifles in Viet Nam too. Although the percentage of fiberglass rifle stocks used in RVN is low in comparison to wood. By the time they saw the need for them in the climate of southeast asia, and issued them to troops, they were being replaced by the M16.

Those are standard issue GI stocks. They are rough, rusted, and cracked. I bought 5, 1 was great (ready for repainting after cleaning), I had to cut through stock to remove rear sling swivel on 1 but it will be an easy repair. 1 is iffy and 2 were junk, had cracks all the way across. Could have fixed them but I wouldn't shoot them, gave them to the kids.
I felt they were a good deal, they were adequately described but be prepared to do some work.
Bottom one in this pic is the $11.59 Numrich, I just cleaned it (simple green), primed it and then hit a bit of Duracoat.
