Thumbs up

Better yet, there is a very good reason that only 1 guy in the squad was allowed to keep the selector switch on his rifle (he being designated sqd auto rifleman) and the rest were taken off and carried by the squad leader in case of an ememrgency need. Probably something like a Korean war chicom mass wave attack.
On FA the M14 is a worthless POS!!!
I own 2 M14s. The only time one gets shot is when I'm going to the range and someone wants to shoot it. I never put more than 2 rds in the mag cause he will hit the target with the first and the 2nd will likely be over the berm.
I shoot an FN/FAL with a run fast switch. I can put 4 rds in the chest at 100yds on a consistant basis. I like shooting 3 rd bursts.
I have an MP 43, it is a true joy to shoot on FA and more accurate than my FN/FAL.
