New James River complete rifles with reweld receivers

These are not "re-welds" because the new Bula receiver was never welded. They cut the GI heel with the markings off and weld it to the new UN-heat treated Bula receiver and THEN they heat treat the receiver.

Anyway I'm getting one to go with the CMP parts kit from a few years ago.

No question with ATF on these. Paperwork and registration lists them as JRA/Winchester with USGI ser # and other mfgs accordingly.
Bula is forged into left side of receiver and and other information on right. Without the takedown notch in the rail and no auto lug, they are obviously semi only.
As mentioned they are not re-welds at all, but new donor receivers with USGI scrap metal attached.

I have been more than pleased with the advancements that JRA and Bula Defense Systems have been making in their product line. I have no financial ties to either, other than they are happy to take my money.

As a hobby builder, they are making things easy for us.
Not as simple as throwing a few AR parts together to make a rifle, but they are getting close.

Art how much are they getting for just the Reciever that had the Heel welded on at JRA, I'm thinking about picking up a few and was wondering what the cost involved is compared to just buying a rifle already done.Thank you for any help Jim

If you provide the receiver I think it's just shy of 1k.

I supplied a heel, had them install / headspace the bolt and barrel, and add small receiver parts for 1k total.

You would have to call and ask.
My last order was for 4 and I supplied the heels.
I think it was just under 1K per receiver.

Check the M14 parts for sale on this forum. There always seems to be someone selling receiver halves.
