What is todays going rate for excellent condition Remington 40x with Olympic Sights?

I think if you say excellent it would be excellent, with sights at least $1400. Not many on the market are what I call excellent and it might bring more, I always think about what it would cost to replace if I plan to sell something.

I've never seen one for sale-but have wanted one ever since shooting a couple.
The Guard unit I was in had three 40x rifles and 5 or 6 High Standard pistols. We had a shooting team briefly, but they stopped sending us to matches after our second one. |

Saw that one, and it appears to be an earlier 722 based 40-X.
With a little “wood-whispering” (think “Sparx” here on the Forum) and a bit of searching here as well, you could certainly restore it with iron sights/front block with little difficulty. WMC. |

[b]from what i've seen at the shows..excellent with sights..in the $1400+ range...same condition with military markings[/..a little higher]
