Default Going price of the USMC 40-X??

I got one from the CMP complete with handstop, Palma rear sight and Oly front sight. I also have the certificate and invoice. Definitely been used and the white line buttpad is deteriorating, but it shoots well. I was wondering what these go for these days? Thanks for the help!

Just the USMC stamped models are standard barrel. Most of the non
USMC models were heavy barrel models. Both types 722 and 700. Wayne

Go to Gunbroker, click on "advanced search," then click "sold listings," type in USMC 40X and you have the going rate for these, potentially in slightly different condition. Adjust several hundred dollars either way based upon the condition of yours.

I bought one about a year ago for $900. I think that was a good price. I see them local at shows for 1200 to 2000. I see very few sell unless you ask a decent price for them.

They seem to be priced all over the place. I have seen them for 700-1200. I wouldn't sell mine for for twice that. Of all the rifles I own I enjoy shooting it the most. It truly is a one hole wonder. Often I think of buying a model 37 but why? The USMC model 40 is awesome. Don't sell it. You will be sorry if you do.

+1. The only thing is lacks is that self assuring recoil....
