Default Real SHM?

This is at a local shop and touted as an 100% as issued in WWII with correct stampings and correct stock markings. Now I know that that is a bunch of malarkey but I am still wondering about this "not 1942" cartouche. I appreciate any information.

That would be a post war cartouche, likely during a SA rebuild.
Your pic is a bit dark, here is one I have....yours looks better!

The other pics he has show well and it even has lockbars so I figure it's worth a trip to see it. I have no idea how much he's asking but it does look pretty good otherwise. I'm just not very good at determining a real SHM even though I know this rifle should be wearing a GHS. Thanks for answering.

Well I just swung by. Just because a rifle has all "matching" SA parts does not make it all matching. A 1946 barrel on a 1942 rifle, breech not in the white, rebuild stamps on that SHM stock kind of make me think he doesn't know as much as the forum members here. At least the $3400 price tag would mean it isn't going anywhere for a while.

Might just be me but I am concerned about the SHM stamp as well as the Ord Wheel. They just don't look quite right.
Most concern for me is the shape of the S's and the rear of the cannons.

Here is one my SHMs for comparison:

One of my Ord Wheels:

Am, I off base here?

I am most certainly no expert but the S did look off to me. However the picture is not the best. The H also appears to me to extend too high. Regardless when he swears it is all matching with a 6 digit receiver and a 1946 barrel even a novice like me knows enough to steer clear. The $3,400 price tag assures the same from most others.

Maybe he means all SA parts but that absolutely does not warrant the price. Thank you for the reply Rob. Luckily for me, I couldn't have afforded to make this mistake anyway.
