[QUOTE=Now, with in a few days I hope that we will see pictures of your new purchase and hear of a range report

Go tiger![/QUOTE]

You bet. I am still recuperating from surgery and can't jar my innards for a few days. My shooting for now is limited to my 9MM and M1 carbines at short ranges. I did a lot of research to come-up with a weapon that duplicated the last M14 I carried in 1967 to the best of it's ability for the most reasonable price. I think I have.

Congratulations on making an important decision.
There are plenty of good ones out there.
I assembled this one myself to be as close to the Winchester I was issued in 67 and 68 in RVN.
Used a Winchester heeled JRA/Bula Defense Systems receiver , Winny bolt, barrel, trigger group, op rod, stock and as many other Winchester parts as I could to complete my tribute rifle.
Shoots great for a standard issue type M14 rifle.

Nf1e
I am waiting for me TRW Bula heal to do the same thing you did.

I can only hope my rifle looks as beautiful as yours is 👍.

All the best.

John

If your post in the CMP South Store sub-forum wasn't enough, this certainly was. You were warned and punched your own ticket.

I have a Springfield M1a but the Fulton's are better come with more GI parts and better receiver but I would have no issues with getting another Springfield they have
a good warranty that I have never needed I doubt you will break the Springfield receiver also check some M1A websites they have deals on nice used one's also LRB
make's a good receiver do not buy one with a Enterprise receiver.
