Default Service Rifle - UBR Stock - Sling in offhand?

If anyone has also considered the Magpul UBR stock for service rifle, how would you think you could attach the sling to the rear (for shooting offhand). There is no way I can get the claw through the loop. Maybe a QD sling point would work.

Default sling attachment

I'm going to use a web sling. It comes off and goes on easily.
Since it's a cheap try, I'd start there.

That is my solution with an Uncle Mike's swivel.

I have been practicing with the UBR. I purchased a second QD sling attachment for the right side of the stock. Now I can switch the sling from one side to the other quickly.

If you don't have a QD sling swivel you can use a rear sling swivel from an AR or Garand. Just replace one of the screws that holds the side or door on the stock with the screw for the QD mount. It will fit through the the AR/Garand swivel and hold the side or or door onto the stock.

Is that stock "as issued" or is this rule change going "OOC"?
Me thinks me will put globe sights on my service rifle and show up and say hey, "globe sights matter". With my eyesight I deserve to be treated "fairly"!!!!

If I can't afford an UBR right now and want a better cheek weld than a standard M4/CAR stock, any recommendation for a sub $100 stock like the CTR, STR or ACS from Magpul?
