Default 89,000 phillipine M1 garands

Don't know if this is the right spot guys but how long does it take the CMP to sell guns once they arrive in country. Haven't really heard much more about this load inbound. Sorry I've never been around for something like this. Is it months to prep n sell?

If this happens it may be a year or more before any start being sold. Have to be shipped out of PI, then IF the Army decides to send them to the CMP need to get that done, then CMP must go thru them to repair and grade the rifles. Also many, many will no doubt be in very bad shape. This thread will no doubt be locked like the others. My 2 cents.

This isn't even a for sure - but if enough people talk about it, then it seems like it should be happening

I would personally think the 1911a1's would be coming sooner than any foreign sales

I heard the US Gov. worked out a deal whereby they can dump all small arms into Leyte Gulf and save everyone money....

has been stated in past by heads of cmp. They will never acquire
garands that are not received thru the army. If they are imported.
They will go thru companys who deal with surplus arms this was stated by orest long before he retired.
All items sold by cmp are acquired thru the department of
the army

NO this isn't the right spot for this.............

Try here:

or here:

And before you ask......................

Google has a search function................... go to google, type in what you'd like to find out about and there you go.
Atleast when I do it................ it shows CMP threads too.

There is also a search function here too....................

Try it out........................
