$3000 plus local taxes @ 10 percent. So, $3300 out the door.

Want to give a special thank you to Tom for his diligent reporting and for his assistance in the store today. I was looking for a Win 13. I had missed out on one on my last trip and had it in my mind that the last time I saw one in the store the hang tag actually said Win 13. Alas not anymore, and I had a brain cramp trying to remember what serial number range they started at. I had my book, but Tom was right next to me so I asked him for the serial number sequence and as soon as he said 16....I realized I was standing in front of one that might be in the range and sure enough it was. Haven't had a chance to break it completely down yet, but I believe at this point the only parts that are Winchester are the receiver and the front sight.

Thanks too to the folks at the South Store. As always Mike and the staff go out of their way to make every visit special.

Default Friday opening report

There was ONE customer in line this morning and he picked up a 6 digit 11/1941 rifle with USGI wood. Nice find.

Racks were full this morning with 75 rifles present.

M1 WRA SG, 45, several 6 digit, no Win-13's, two WRA barrels, one with fair SA JLG cartouche, mostly CMP wood.

Other inventory of rifles remain about the same as reported Thursday.

Full display box of M1 bayonets and some cotton 6.00 slings.

Good luck on your searches
