Default Friday closing report

There were 68 rifles remaining at closing and the store had been restocked during the day.

Strong inventory of WRA SG's remain in store, at about 45, other rifles remain about the same as Thursday's opening report.

After store restock I didn't see any Win-13's, WRA barrels or nice stock cartouches. There were several 6 digit rifles remaining.

Store should be restocked before opening in morning.

Good luck on your searches.

M1 WRA SG, 45, several 6 digit, no Win-13's, two WRA barrels, one with fair SA JLG cartouche, mostly CMP wood.

Other inventory of rifles remain about the same as reported Thursday.

Full display box of M1 bayonets and some cotton 6.00 slings.

Nice find.
Is that one customer known by the name "Tom"?

It was a nice rifle and his name could have been Tom, but it's not this Tom...

Default I hate it when a plan falls apart

Well,
My well laid plans for the weekend fell apart so I guess all that is left is to head for the store.
I think I would like to find a WRA with an original barrel but I guess that is up to the Garand Collecting Gods.
I guess I will be there in the morning and see what happens.....again (i keep trying).
see ya there,
Rob

Default Saturday opening report

There were 4 customers at opening and the racks were full.

M1 WRA SG, 39, one customer picked up a really nice Win-13 with beautiful original finish and mostly WIN parts, no other WIN-13's , two WP barrels one sold, one with nice SA cartouche (sold). Stocks about 50/50 USGI/CMP wood.

Other inventory remains about the same as reported on Thurday.

Good luck on your searches.

Just leaving the store and finally got my WRA with what is likely an original barrel and finish.
Ballance of parts are SA and the wood is CMP

I am one happy camper,
Rob
