Default How does [email protected] function work?

I see posts where people list their email address and its covered by an [email protected] label unless you are logged in and click on it. Is that automatic or is it something I need to do if I post my email address to a forum post? TIA

What you are seeing is not an option available within vBulletin (the software used by CMP Forum), and not something individual users here can configure.
It is something that happens with certain Cloudflare servers and is called Email Address Obfuscation.
Apparently, the Cloudflare server through which the forum downloads to your computer has this enabled.
You'd have to call your ISP to see if they know more about it...

Hope that helps,
Rob
